Deceased Name: William H. Stein

William H. Stein, husband of Janet Erny Stein, age 66, of Hallam, died peacefully, Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He was a retired English Teacher, spending his career at Garden Spot High School and York Suburban High School. Bill was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Columbia, where he volunteered as a driver for the Columbia Meals on Wheels Program.

In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his children: Jennifer S. (James) Mosman; Jeffrey W. (Tamara) Stein; Kimberly D. (Anthony) DiSanti of Coatesville, his sisters: Deborah (Michael) Parkes; Meribeth (G. Christopher) Padgett, his grandchildren: Jocelyn Mosman, Maria DiSanti, Dominic DiSanti, Aaron Stein, Nadia Stein, and his step-granddaughter: Jessica Mosman.

A memorial service for Bill will be held Saturday, January 29, 2011 from St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sixth and Locust Streets, Columbia, at 11 AM (family will receive friends 10-11 AM) with the Reverend Peter S. Bergstresser officiating. Please omit flowers. Contributions in Bill's memory may be made to: Columbia Meals on Wheels, PO Box 391, Columbia, PA 17512. Arrangements by: Clyde W.
